Roles and Responsibilities

BOFA, Inc. President Qualifications:
 

 The President will preside at all meetings of the Board.  The President may execute all contracts, deeds and other instruments for and on behalf of the Corporation and will do and perform all other things for and on behalf of the Corporation as the Board will authorize and direct. 

 

The President has three primary roles: Leader, Presiding officer, and the Administrator. As leader, the President must plan the activities of the organization, communicate to membership, and orchestrate the business plan. The President will call upon the Board to help in planning activities.  

The BOFA Inc. President is the highest ranking officer of the Black O'Kelley Family Association. Inc. He or she is an honored guest at any BOFA, Inc. function. 

Only the President is authorized to speak for the Black O'Kelley Family Association. Inc. 

 

  • Two (2) year term.

  • A bachelor's degree or higher

  • Minimum five (10) years experience leading/managing teams

Required Competencies:

  • Organized and professional demeanor

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Experience maintaining and prioritizing your work calendar

  • Familiar with Robert’s Rules of Order

  • Open, honest, receptive team player

  • Public Speaking Skills

  • Critical Thinking Skills

  • Team Leadership Skills

  • Must be able to participate in virtual meetings
